Having worked in the most beautiful establishments in Provence, our chef has settled down at the Grand Hôtel d’Orange and taken over the kitchens of the Aurasice restaurant.

Imbued with a certain form of authenticity regarding the products he works with, their production and their impact on the environment, he offers a short but colourful menu, where all the richness of the Vaucluse terroir is highlighted.

Aurasice is the name of the fortress once located on the Saint Eutrope Hill. In the 12th century, when Tiburge, daughter of Count Raimbaud of Nice, had the city's Roman walls rebuilt, she also rehabilitated the old 'castrum Aurasice'.

Aurasice is a tribute to the long and rich history of Orange, an emblematic city of Provence.

Every morning, between 7am and 10:30am, enjoy our generous breakfast in the form of a buffet.

You will enjoy local and seasonal products. Delight your taste buds with savory or sweet products, to be enjoyed in the shade of the hackberry trees or in our restaurant in Orange. Treat your taste buds in the morning!
